The tracks of the Blue Line Metro provide an open vista for residents of Carlyle Towers.
The Carlyle District is remarkably accessible. Carlyle District is right across the street from King Street Station, which serves Metro Rail’s Blue and Yellow lines. At the same location, is Union Station serving trains from Amtrak and the Manassas and Fredericksburg lines of the Virginia Railway Express. King Street Station is a hub for both Metro and Alexandria’s Dash buses and it features a cab stand. Carlyle District is within walking distance of Metro’s Eisenhower Avenue Station. . Both Interstate 495 and Reagan National Airport are nearby.
