Map of Carlyle District
The United States Patent and Trademark Office has become the centerpiece of the Carlyle District, a burgeoning multi-use district that now comprises a number of luxury condominium communities. Note that in the map above North is at the bottom of the image.
Most of the Carlyle District lies between Duke St. in the North and Eisenhower Ave. in the South. To the east of the Carlyle District is the African American Hertitage Park and the Alexandria National Cemetary. The western end of the Carlyle District informally extends to the Eisenhower Metro Station and the Hoffman Center.
